Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. has signed a purchase agreement for six Airbus A350F aircraft, becoming the first customer in mainland China to order the all‑new A350F.

🌍 Expanding Global Cargo Operations
Headquartered in Beijing, Air China Cargo is the only cargo airline in China carrying the national flag. Since June 2025, the airline has operated dedicated cargo aircraft across North, East, South, and Southwest China, while opening 25 all‑cargo routes to major regions worldwide, including Asia‑Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.
Its freighter and passenger belly network is further supported by 1,500+ global ground trucking routes, strengthening its logistics footprint.
🛫 The World’s Most Advanced Freighter
The Airbus A350F is engineered to meet the evolving needs of the global air cargo market, including express, general, and special cargo. Key features include:
- Payload capacity: up to 111 tonnes
- Range: 8,700 km
- Engines: Rolls‑Royce Trent XWB‑97
- Fuel efficiency: up to 40% reduction in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions compared to previous generation freighters
- Materials: over 70% advanced composites, making it 46 tonnes lighter than competitors
- Cargo door: industry’s largest main deck cargo door
The A350F is also the only freighter fully compliant with ICAO’s 2027 CO₂ standards. By entry into service, it will be 50% SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) capable, with a target of 100% by 2030. Assembly of test aircraft is currently underway in Toulouse, France.
📊 Airbus A350 Family Orders
As of October 2025, the A350 Family had secured 1,445 orders from 63 customers worldwide, including 74 orders for the all‑new A350F from 12 customers.
