Teledyne Brown Engineering, a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY), was recognized as Large Business Subcontractor of the Year by Bechtel for exceptional work on projects for Bechtel’s Nuclear, Security & Environmental global business unit.

Companies were evaluated on multiple factors including the following: overall performance; the ability to deliver quality services/supplies on time; the ability to work collaboratively to meet milestones; and meeting or exceeding project expectations in aspects of safety, construction performance, technical expertise, and environmental compliance. Nominations were reviewed and approved by Bechtel procurement and project managers with final approval from senior leadership.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award from Bechtel highlighting the work we are performing with them on national security programs,” stated Jan Hess, President of Teledyne Brown Engineering. “This complex and challenging project exemplifies the type of work we pride ourselves in performing.”

Teledyne Brown Engineering has been supplying hardware and systems for the energy and nuclear industry for over five decades. The company is a subcontractor to Bechtel for work supporting the Uranium Processing Facility project at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

“Our subcontractor and supplier community relationships are the cornerstone to many of our highly technical, and often first-of-a-kind projects,” said Barbara Rusinko, President of Bechtel’s Nuclear, Security and Environmental global business unit. “The performance of key suppliers continues to enhance our ability to deliver superior service to our customers and advance innovation.”
