Zodiac Seats has won two Good Design Awards for two different products: the Premium Economy of China Airlines (Taiwan) and the Business Class of Japan Airlines.
The Premium Economy seat of China Airlines (Taiwan) present on board its Airbus A350 is derived from the Airgo FX Premium model, produced by Zodiac Seats France. This seat has a fixed shell seat back ensuring recline without disturbing passengers behind. It is one of the largest on the market to ensure passenger comfort. Equipped for China Airlines with excellent quality, cream colored leather complimenting metallic finishes, the seats demonstrate elegance with style. The design adopts the cultural elements of China’s Sung period to accent the eastern touch in all its detail and coloring. The lightning finishes the intimate atmosphere.
The Business Class of Japan Airlines is the declination for JAL of the Aries model and is produced by Zodiac Seats UK to equip some of its Boeing 777. This seat required six months of work and design to combine the Group’s knowledge and expertise, working together to develop this new product. The idea was to solve a number of known issues in the business class seats market including optimization of space Aries is designed to intelligently use space by adopting an overlapping seat layout in bed mode. Each seat provides direct access to the aisles. The space available for passengers has been increased with work and dining areas and space for personal effects. The protection of privacy has also been improved with increased space between passengers.
