Pratt & Whitney’s Connecticut IAM-Represented Employees Ratify New Labor Contract


Members of Locals 700 and 1746, District 26 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), representing approximately 2,600 employees at Pratt & Whitney in Middletown and East Hartford, Connecticut, ratified a new labor agreement today. The contract takes effect on Dec. 5 and runs through May 2022. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

“This is an exciting time to be at Pratt & Whitney – we have great products, and we have the best people to design, build and service these products,” said company lead negotiator Terry Nolan, vice president, Employee and Labor Relations. “This contract rewards our employees for their skill, dedication and hard work, while also positioning the company for long-term success.”

Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units.
