Oman Air, the national airline of the Sultanate of Oman, has been awarded a Five-Star rating in the Major Airline category by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). The award was announced and presented to Oman Air on Wednesday, 1 December 2021, in Long Beach, California at the APEX/IFSA Awards, the industry’s first major in-person event of the year. This is the second consecutive year that Oman Air has received the Five-Star Major Airline award.
APEX Official Airline Ratings™ are based on neutral, third-party passenger feedback and insights gathered through APEX’s partnership with TripIt® from Concur®, the world’s highest-rated travel-organizing app. For the 2022 Awards, nearly one million flights were rated by passengers across more than 600 airlines from around the world using a five-star scale. The APEX Official Airline Ratings™ were independently certified by a professional external auditing company.
