Regional airline, bmi is kicking off the weekend as the official sponsor of Heart’ charity football match on Sunday 20 May at Ashton Gate, home of Bristol City Football Club.
The match has scored a host of participating celebrities from Corrie, EastEnders, The Only Way Is Essex and Bristol City, to take part in a game to raise funds for a number of West Country children’s charities.
Amongst the famous faces to take to the pitch are Kerry Katona, Katie Price, Lee Latchford-Evans (Steps), Jake Wood (EastEnders), Shayne Ward (Corrie/X Factor) Calum Best ( TV star, model and footballer), Jamie Argent AKA ‘Arg’, Dan Osborne; (TOWIE) ,Scott Murray, Louis Carey and current head coach, Lee Johnson (Bristol City Legends) Dean Edwards (TV Chef), Dean Gaffney (Soap Star), Danny Boy Hatchard (Soap Star), Sam Bailey (X factor), MC Harvey (So Solid), Simon Webb (Blue), Jimmy Constable (911), Jeff Brazier (This Morning), Liam Gatsby (Towie), Dan Edgar (Towie), Alex Beattie (Love Island), Matt Lapinskas (Dancing on Ice), Jay James (X Factor), Jamie O’Hara (Celeb Big Brother), Terry Alderton (Comedian) Paul Konchesky (Ex Pro) and Alex Russell (Ex England Player).
The event now in its third year, is like no other match, this is where ‘selfie’ meets ‘football’ – with families and fans getting the opportunity to meet the players after the game.
