This partnership will help raise much-needed funds to support the American Cancer Society’s programs.
For many of us, cancer has struck close to home. We have been touched by someone who fights this disease in its various forms,” said Elise Eberwein, Executive Vice President, People, Communications and Public Affairs. “And it’s because of this fight that many of our fellow employees have been inspired to participate in an initiative to take action.”

Fleet service and maintenance employees will sport pink hats and t-shirts. Non-uniformed employees, as well as the flying public, have also purchased other clothing and special BE PINK branded items. A portion of each BE PINK uniform and branded item purchase will be donated to the American Cancer Society. As of Sept. 26, employees have raised more than $16,000 in funds through uniform purchases; some items are still available for purchase at usairwaysstore.com.
