Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air has increased its baggage allowance from Doha to select routes across the airline’s network.

The carrier is now offering additional baggage allowance for its economy class passengers, adding to the general stipulated allowance on flights from Doha to some of its most popular Indian Subcontinent, Asian and African routes and some of the airline’s newly re-launched destinations in Iraq and Iran: Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Al Najaf, Isfahan, Tehran, Mashhad and Shiraz.

Gulf Air’s Country Manager, Qatar Mr. Wael Mattar commented, “We are offering this allowance specifically in Qatar to meet the travel requirements of our valued passengers. We hope all our passengers take advantage of the increased luggage they can now travel with!”

The offer is valid until the end of December 2012 and more information can be found by contacting the Gulf Air Doha Sales Office (Tel: +974 44998000), any travel agent or by visiting the official Gulf Air website at
