This week OGMA hosted the 14th EMBRAER E-Jets Optimization – General Working Group/Industry Steering Committee, a meeting which has gathered several aeronautical entities and E-Jets operators from all over the world, driven by Embraer in Brazil. The event aimed to follow up on a previous gathering, in 2012, where the involved parties started to develop work related to the optimization of the MRB tasks (Maintenance Review Board). The working group aims to evaluate field data obtained through the implementation of different tasks by operators, and to present changes to the current methodology, allowing the participants to evaluate the proposals made by the Embraer team with the ultimate goal to constantly offer maintenance costs reduction to Embraer operators.
