At 20:30 h. 109 flights of the 135 that Iberia has scheduled for today had taken off, in keeping with the minimum services required by law during the strike by airline employees.

Iberia has set up a free 24-hour help line for customers at 900 100 480, along with its traditional help line at 902 400 500. Customers may also consult the status of flights on the Iberia website http://www.iberia.com, at Arrivals and Departures , (under “Information”) and view reservation status under Booking Management. For flights operated by other airlines, customers should consult with them directly.

Up-to-date information will also be supplied through Iberia call centres around the world, on the airline’s Facebook and Twitter profiles, Iberia desks in more than 100 airports around the world, and travel agencies. Customers who sign up with the Iberia Conecta on the www.iberia.com site will automatically receive real-time information about their flights.
Customers are advised to check-in online at www.iberia.com, so to speed up boarding procedures and avoid unnecessary waiting time at the airport.
Iberia is making every effort to find seats on Iberia or other airlines for passengers booked on flights cancelled because of the strike, and is making full refunds when no alternatives are available or acceptable to the customer. Alternative flights were found for 70,000 customers whose flights for this week were cancelled.
