Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill recently signed a lease for a new Executive Terminal in preparation for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games to be held in London from July 27 through August 12, 2012.
With London airspace expecting up to 1,300 daily helicopter flights and an additional 1,800 airline flights and 2,500 private aircraft throughout the Olympic Games, Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill has leased a new Executive Terminal to accommodate the anticipated surge of visitors, including many heads of state.
Jet Aviation will offer a comprehensive and competitive range of FBO services, along with heated hangars, fueling and aircraft cleaning. The newly refurbished, modernized and dedicated FBO facility at London Biggin Hill Airport, features showers, changing and “snooze” rooms, flight planning areas, wireless internet and pilot amenities. The company will provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft repair, defect rectifications and 24/7 AOG support.
“Aircraft operators, owners, crew and passengers alike can relax and enjoy the Games at ease while we personally manage their handling, maintenance and accommodation needs to perfection,” says Chris Webb, Jet Aviation London Biggin Hill’s general manager. “We look forward to doing what we do best in support of the successful staging of the London Olympic Games.”
London Biggin Hill Airport is the closest business aviation airport to the Olympic Park and boasts extensive aircraft parking capacity. Vehicle parking is available in a secure, well-lit and regularly patrolled car park adjacent to the Terminal.
